Facing Australia has been successful in attracting Arts NSW funding to create new project called A Short History of Hair which will include The Face of the Hairdresser. Scheduled for exhibition in 2010 at the Albury LibraryMuseum

Over 1500 inner Sydney residents have collaborated with Facing Australia to create a series of composite portraits that will represent the iconic suburbs of Redfern, Haymarket, The Rocks, Millers Point and Surry Hills. The final works will be launched during the City of Sydney’s major cultural event Art & About from the 6 - 14 October.
